Some of you out there must of heard of the CCCB, or rather the Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona. Maybe some of you have even been to an event organized by this association. If you haven’t, then here’s the occasion you must have been waiting for. It’s an event that is on from yesterday until the 1st of March (and where else?) and it’s called “The Influencers“. The main theme isn’t the usual boring art exhibition, on the contrary it focuses on forms of art and communication guerrilla, presenting independent projects that play with global popular culture, infiltrate mass media, transform fashions, consumption and techno fetishism. The key to the occasion is all in the guests and stories as you may count impostors, totalitarian musicians, hackers, geographers, anarchitects and unknown actors. The only aspect that might be found in common between all this variety of people is the aim, that can be considered changing the present by imagining the future. In order to have success in this, they will manipulate everyday symbols in an excessive and politically incorrect manner. Don’t miss it!!
